THE LARGEST CHOICE OF CUSTOMISED HIGH PRESSURE METALLIC GASKETS
The significance of a gasket's ability to recover cannot be overstated. Variations in pressure and temperature, along with the temperature differences across the flange face and the relaxation of bolt stress and creep, necessitate a gasket that possesses sufficient flexibility and recovery to ensure a reliable seal under these fluctuating service conditions. The PACSEAL Spiral Wound Gasket serves as a precisely
engineered solution to these challenges, designed to withstand the most stringent requirements of temperature and pressure in flanged joints and similar assemblies, while also being compatible with nearly all known corrosive and toxic substances.
PAC-SWG Styles :
PAC-PO : The assembly consists of a sealing component and an external metal ring. The external ring aids in positioning the gasket on the mating flange surfaces and prevents excessive compression of the sealing component, thereby ensuring optimal sealing efficiency. PAC-PO gaskets are appropriate for application on both raised and flat-faced flanged connections and are designed for use in mild to moderate service conditions.
PAC-PIO : An outer metal ring is complemented by an inner metal ring gasket, which
confines the sealing element at both its internal and external diameters. The inner ring serves as an extra compression stop, thereby preventing the inner buckling of the sealing element. Additionally, it establishes a physical barrier between the sealing element and the process stream, offering protection from heat and media while also mitigating erosion. PAC-PIO gaskets are appropriate for application on both raised and flat-faced flanged connections, as well as in moderate to severe service conditions.
PAC-P : The assembly consists of a sealing component, with supplementary layers of
metal incorporated at both the beginning and end of the winding procedure to enhance
stability and sealing efficacy. In contrast to other types of spiral wound gaskets, the
compression of the sealing element is regulated by employing the appropriate flange face
configuration. PAC-P gaskets are designed for compatibility with tongue and groove, male
and female, as well as flat to groove flanged connections.
PAC-PI : The assembly consists of a sealing component and an inner metallic ring. The inner ring serves a dual purpose: it acts as a compression stop and establishes a physical barrier between the sealing component and the media flow. Additionally, the inner ring is engineered to diminish turbulent flow, thereby reducing flange erosion and preventing the accumulation of debris in the annular space between the pipe bore and the gasket's internal diameter. PAC-PI gaskets are appropriate for application on both male and female (spigot and recess) flanged connections.

PAC-Style Gaskets :
All PAC gaskets designed for these standard flanges have a thickness of 4.5mm and are equipped with solid metal rings that are 3.2mm thick.
Special Gaskets :
Specially designed gaskets can be developed and manufactured by applying the fundamental principles of PACSEAL Spiral Wound Gasket design and construction. This approach allows for a diverse array of applications in installations that lack industry-wide standards. Custom gaskets have been created for various equipment,
including valves, pumps, compressors, turbines, boilers, and heat exchangers.
